From Heeramandi in series to Kalki in movies, have a look at IMDB's most viewed films and web-shows lists of this year.

As the year comes to an end, we got our hands on list of web series and movies that topped the charts this year. The popularity of projects were such that they went on to become top 10 viewed seires and movies on prestigious IMDB platform. Sci-fi epic “Kalki 2898 AD” and Netflix’s period drama series “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar” secured the top spots on IMDb‘s Most Popular Indian Movies and Web Series lists for 2024, respectively. IMDb’s most popular web series

On the streaming front, Netflix and Prime Video dominated the series rankings with three titles each. Topping the most viewed web-series list is netflisx’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It was followed by legal comedy Maamla Legal Hai at No. 6, and The Great Indian Kapil Show closing the top 10. Talking about Prime Video, Mirzapur, Panchayat, and “Citadel: Honey Bunny”. Other series featuring in list includes, Gyaarah Gyaarah, Taaza Khabar 2, Murder in Mahim, Shekhar Home.

IMDb’s most popular movies

Talking about movies, Deepika Padukone dominated the list with three of her movies featuring among top 10. The list has movies like Fighter, Kalki 2898 AD and Singham Again. Apart from this, Laapataa Ladies secured 10^th position. It carries additional significance as India’s official submission for the 97th Academy Awards’ International Feature Film category. The list includes six other film namely- Stree 2, Maharaja, Shaitaan, Manjummel Boys, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kill.
